At this point I regret purchasing coinstats and I'm looking for a better option. If you can't trust the math, then you can't trust the application. The tool calculates P/L from the current coin price not the price at which it was sold, so stupid. Sent an email to support and never heard back.
Average pricing overhaul (DCA) based on purchase time frame exclude previous sales for e.g. as the average calculation seems to not take into account sales only purchases even after a sale has been made. This gives inaccurate holding average.
This is legit the most critical feature! I foolishly assumed that this would be something they have. After realizing it I scoured this app and still nothing. Also customer support is non existent...please add this feature! Hire more employees to get things working as they should/provide your paying customers with support on demand, dont make promises you cant keep.
As the OP... I've been following this thread for years.
I've never made a follow-up. And I stopped being shocked after the first year when it wasn't implemented.
It is the simplest and most effective number to know. For me it indicates that companies don't want us to specifically perform well. They just want us to keep clicking buttons on their platform because it drives revenue.
*BUMP!!!!!*
Add a feature to aggregate the underlying Cost Basis of Coins.
While it does show a P/L this doesn't indicate what the overall Cost Basis of the investment.
Truly blows my mind. People buy dips and want to know what their basis is. I simply want to put a line on my charts that represents the average price I have paid for what I'm currently holding. I want to know that more than anything else coinstats offers. Why even have an aggregator if you can't get this basic information? You can get all the other data from the exchanges and track prices on tradingview etc. Coinstats, stop everything else you're doing and add this feature. Are you listening to you customers here who are saying they don't even care about average profit and loss? That might be useful looking back to see how an investor has fared historically, but most days an investor/trader wants to have an idea of how much they are up or down with regard to the skin they currently have in the game! Please truly get this done immediately.
I don’t think so, I have checked it and didn’t find it. Also I didn’t find it in the most popular apps, and I am shocked how something like this is not implemented!
Couldn’t agree more! This is one of the most basic stats for a trader to know beyond P&L. Honestly, I’d prefer this over the “Average Buy / Average Sell” stat which doesn’t really do me any good unless I’m still holding all of what I’ve previously bought.
Blockfolio has this feature for FREE, so why not CoinStats?
So if this feature refers to a net cost per coin or folio then yes.
I’m referring to the cost per coin, we buy we sell part at profit, this brings down cost of remaining coins. Eventually we remove entire investment and hold only profit, the the cost changes to profit. Much like what crypto pro has.
Very beneficial feature
Yes, overall basis of the investment as well as that total divided by amount of coins purchased so that we can know how much we paid for each coin overall on average (cost average). Comparing that info to current spot rate helps in making buy/sell decisions.
Cost Basis is how much $ you paid for all your coins. It's as simple as SUM of the column "Amount Worth" of the "Transactions" tab in CoinStats. We really need this basic feature to have an understanding of the total $ amount invested in a given portfolio.
I currently get this info by choosing All time profit loss and substracting/summing the current profit/loss with the current holdings. Yes it’s not an effortless process.
IMO for those of us that pay for the pro or premium this should not be a necessary thing. Also would be a great free feature as it would help CS's draw in new investors looking for easy to understand data displayed simply on "their"platform.

COINSTATS, HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE THIS AFTER TWO YEARS! YOU DESERVE TO LOSE BUSINESS!

I came to this page to ask for this feature also. I'm glad somebody else already did this.

If I remember well, Delta app has this. Definitely a must.

+1 Definitely a missing Important FEATURE to read the Real All time P/L
Michael
I got tired of waiting for this feature so I wrote a little JS to do this on the web interface:
github.com/12sm/statsplus
It obviously only works on the website, but that's a start!
Michael
Also as a Chrome extension if that's easier:
chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/statsplus-for-coinstats/jojofkhmfbjhedacakkjdijcjfgpcplj

I really need this feature. The 'average buy' stat is useless as its not weighted

+1. I would really love this feature to be part of the product.

Erik. Could you please elaborate on this. I’d like to vote for this feature but I’m not too sure I fully understand it’s benefits. Thanks
