It would be awesome to be able to edit transactions for a coin that's set up through an API. You can only edit ones in your manual folder so I have to always make a separate manual exchange for my coins in staking for example... Since coins in staking normally don't show up. If you allowed us to edit them, or add transactions to the coins set up through an API then it would fix this. Thank you.

For solving this problem we would recommend creating a new parent group if its not created yet, moving your exchange account under that group and adding another manual portfolio under the same group in order to see all your holdings in one portfolio.

I have recently issue with the transaction price, the sell/buy price in the transaction is wrong therefore the profit calculation is missed up. We need to be able to modify these transactions.

This would be awesome. Should be #1 on the to do list.

I would also like to add the ability to customize the tagging of transactions. I would like my wallet transfers to be transfers. Tagging them as deposits throws off the Total Deposits number. Just being able to modify all fields of a transaction and not have it overwrite would make everything much more dynamic.

Yes this is a must! The only reason I use Coinstats is for its portfolio feature, but my PL is completely messed up. I just spent hours trying to fix the prices of my fake transaction just to realize after that the last refresh of the API erased all my modifications.

I'm subscribed as Pro and I'm really wondering if I should cancel my plan and build my own tracker on Excel...

Any hope on a fix soon-ish?

This would probably allow us to correct "fake transactions" as long as the subsequent sync's will not revert the change back to the original value.
I understand due to various limitations of the exchanges API's sometimes CoinStats must create a "fake transaction". Unfortunately those transactions are entered with incorrect date and price. The price is editable, date is not. This would maybe work as we can edit the price but the modified price will not "stick". It is eventually overwritten by subsequent refreshes. This is super annoying!
Please either fix the "fake transaction" entries to hold correct date and price or allow us to edit those values and let them stick. The CoinStat is "aware" those are "fake transactions" so it should not be too difficult to modify the synch process to never update them again. Or maybe make those updates optional by introducing some kind of "force fake trasaction" option.

This is my problem too. I use Coin STats to track my PNL and I know Binance API has it's limitations but being able to edit the transactions and making them "STICK" so they don't get overwritten after a sync would make this perfect.

Yes please. Without this , the CoinStats is useless. Every time you withdraw to your hardware wallet, it deducts the funds from total balance. Let us EDIT and say...... Transfer-To "My Hardware Wallet"

Also would be great to fix the bug that counts withdrawals to a wallet as a sale and then calculates P&L on this “sale.” There’s no way to change, this.

There’s another bug where adding notes and then saving also changes the transaction type from “Withdrawal” to “Sell” and there’s no way to change it back without deleting the whole portfolio and adding back for that particular exchange.

Withdrawal default behavior should be marked as transfers to a personal wallet. I have to imagine most people withdrawing are transferring to their own wallets, not to other people. This would make P&L more accurate until a fix is found. Manual, opposite “Sell” transactions could be added for the transfers actually sent to other people until there’s a fix.

For initial transactions synced via API, it would be helpful to be able to edit the date/time to accurately reflect the transaction date. This would help with eventual tax calculations.

Yes Please!! The reason I got the app is to track my p n l between multiple exchanges. I have double entries, wrong dates, wrong prices, wrong transaction types. The data gleaned from the API absolutely useless with a few of my positions.
I've spent hours trying to enter in data and I'm about to give up.
